What tools are required for beginners?
Felting needle thick: is used at the beginning process of felting so that the wool is faster to form into shapes
Felting needle thin: is used for shaping, fine detailing, and finishing so that the holes/naps are unseen
Felting mat: use this as your work bench, if you felt directly onto a hard surface, you will break your needle
I'm a beginner, how do I start?
You can buy DIY felt wool kit for a start, pick the ones that are round shapes and less details to make. ALL DIY felt wool kit does not include needle and mat so they need to be bought separately. Or you can buy the books and buy the colored wool from "Felt wool series" to create you own mascots.
How to buy?
1. Create an account to become our member.
2. Browse our products by their category–D.I.Y felt wool kit, Tools, Books, Noses/eyes/accessories, and felt wool series.
3. Once you have found an item you would like to purchase, you can click on “ADD TO CART” button.
4. Continue to browse and click on the button for every single item you wish to purchase.
5. You can view your shopping cart by clicking the “Cart” link at Top Right of the page.
Once you are ready to pay, you can click on the cart icon.
6. On the shopping cart summary page, review your items , you can edit the quantity
of each items and you can remove item to delete it from the shopping cart.
7. Carefully review your details such as your name, address, postcode, email and phone number.
Choose your delivery shipping type and fee. If they are correct,
you can click “Payment Method” to proceed. If one of them is incorrect, you can edit it.
8. On the summary page, click "Finish Order" to finalize your purchases.
You will then be viewed order confirmation page providing details about payment,
bank account details
and order number. All information is automatically sent to your designated email address.
9. After payment is made, go to "Confirm payment" page to fill in the payment details.
Only after you have confirmed your payment, then we process your orders.
How to pay?

Payment should be made and confirmed before we process your orders. Payment confirmation can be done by clicking "Confirm payment" menu on the navigation bar. Please fill in your order number on the confirm payment page to enable easier order tracking.
How do we send your orders?
The Handcrafter send our products to anywhere in Jakarta and anywhere in Indonesia using TIKI/JNE.
For how long it takes for the orders to arrive, would depend on which service you choose at the check out.
Orders with payment confirmation made during working days (Mon-Fri) before 16.00 WIB will be processed and sent out on the next day. Orders with payment confirmation made during Saturday and Sunday will be processed and sent out on Monday. No shipping is made on public holidays.
If there is any delay caused by any reasons, The Handcrafter will contact you.
We promise to ensure that your orders are prepared without any mistakes or items missing. Our customer service will update your order statues so you don't have to worry about your orders.
Can you cancel your order?
Once payment is received, we are not able to cancel your order. Please carefully review your shopping cart summary before checking out.
Outstanding unpaid orders will be canceled within 24 hours. No reservations are placed on orders which are unpaid.
How to order if the items you want is out of stock?
The Handcrafter will restock our items regularly. As a registered member, you can send us an email with a list of names and codes of which items you want to order.
Those who have placed their names in the back orders list will be our
priority to be notified and offered the restocked items when they are available.

Refunds, exchanges, & missing items policy
Strictly no refunds, returns, exchanges of products, unless manufacturer defects and mistakes. We have implemented a system which minimizes missing items in an order.
* replacements are based on availability
* we do not accept exchanges or returns for these reasons :
- unsold products (for resellers)
- due to lighting and differences in computers the actual color may vary from what you see on-screen, this is not a valid reason for return
- change your mind, do not like the items anymore.
The Handcrafter does not responsible in the risk of loss of the products after TIKI delivers them to the designated address.
Customers are responsible if TIKI/JNE can’t deliver the goods on time due to incomplete address, no recipient at the address, or the recipient rejects the goods.
If the goods are returned to us, customers are obligated to pay the shipping fee one more time if the mistakes are due to customer’s conditions.
The Handcrafter will guarantee that any personal information you have given to us will be kept confidential. We will not disclose them to any third parties for any reasons or in any forms.
